Celebrate World Wildlife Day at Maymont!
Spend a few hours or the whole day connecting with wildlife through Animal Keeper talks, animal feedings and enrichment activities, and presentations. Special guests from The Wildlife Center of Virginia and experts from other wildlife organizations will join us for talks, film screenings and hands-on crafts.
The schedule is packed with talks and special presentations, plus drop-in activities to meet representatives from regional wildlife organizations and get hands-on with over a dozen wildlife-related activities, crafts and games in The Robins Nature Center and Maymont Farm.
The event is free and fun for all ages. Rain or shine. Select sessions are capacity-limited – admission is first-come, first-served.
Donations appreciated. Your support helps keep Maymont looking its best and open to the public year-round!
Food & Beverage
Local food trucks will be on site with a variety of food and beverage options to choose from. Outdoor picnic areas will be available throughout the day.
