Field Investigations

Field Investigations at Maymont spark your student’s curiosity through immersive hands-on activities and unexpected discoveries. Select from a wide range of environmental and historical programs tailored for grades K-12 and leave the rest to our experienced educators!

Maymont encourages school groups to book within the Fall academic term. Any teachers who book a program for Fall program will receive an early-bird discount of $3 per student — and also have more dates and times available to choose from.

Richmond’s favorite 100-acre outdoor classroom also offers a variety of indoor learning spaces for environmental sciences and history programs to complement the learning opportunities spread across this historic landscape. A range of programs tailored by grade level are available for K–12, in public, private or homeschool settings.
