Dooley Noted Society
The Dooley Noted Society is Maymont’s young professionals group with a mission to cultivate support for Maymont through volunteer, social and fundraising activities. The society was formed in July 1998 when a small group of young benefactors came together as “The Young Group.” They soon were hosting a series of banquets, wine tastings, and themed parties. Showing their playful side, they settled on their current play-on-words name in February 1999. Since then, the fun-loving group has grown in membership and scope, presenting a variety of seasonal events to showcase Maymont, raise funds and build community support. Members also participate in and recruit for volunteer activities at the estate and host “Mingle with Maymont” socials at local restaurants throughout the year. Connect with the Dooley Noted Society on Facebook, Twitter and Flickr.
