Thank you for joining us for the Maymont Run of the River Virtual Exhibition! The virtual tour was made possible through a NOAA B-WET grant to support John B. Cary Elementary School with Meaningful Watershed Educational Experiences (MWEE). Maymont developed this online experience to provide students with fun learning opportunities related to the new James River exhibition at The Robins Nature Center while in a virtual setting.

Themed “Run of the River,” The Robins Nature Center highlights the remarkable ecology of the James River located along Maymont’s southern border in Richmond. The experience also emphasizes the natural history of the area and environmental stewardship opportunities for the community. Many of these features can be enjoyed within the virtual tour.
