Help name our new otter!

We're welcoming a new otter at The Robins Nature Center! Like Louis, this young, rescued otter comes from Louisiana, where she had been determined by local authorities to be a nuisance predator to crawfish harvesters. We are happy to give her a second chance at a long and healthy life here at Maymont!

The three-year-old female otter has been gradually acclimating to her new environment behind the scenes at The Robins Nature Center with the help of Maymont’s aquarists and zoology staff. But before we introduce her to the public, she needs a name!

We asked YOU via email and social media to submit name suggestions by signing up to Adopt an Animal. Now it's time to vote on the top four names!
