Take a walk on the wild side, or a stroll if you prefer, at Maymont’s outdoor wildlife habitats. All habitats feature Virginia native species (historic and present), most of which are wildlife rescues, in our 40-acre valley located between the historic estate, the Maymont Farm and The Robins Nature Center. Animals in our Raptor Valley, Bobcat, Red Fox, Black Bear, and Bald Eagle habitats are on view daily by 10am and move back indoors late afternoon. Come early to increase your chances of seeing our wildlife when they are most active!
