Girl Scouts of all ages can fulfill badge requirements at Maymont through a variety of activities designed by Maymont’s educators and set on Maymont’s 100-acre estate. Take part in camp-ins and camp-outs, celebrate the holidays, and enjoy tea parties with your fellow Girl Scouts! Many activities fill up fast, so register early. View our Girl Scouts Program Flyer. Join us for an exciting day of learning about women in history and life science STEM careers. Attend fun-filled sessions covering a variety of topics, including wildlife monitoring and field conservation projects, contributions of women throughout history, creating art inspired by the beautiful grounds and amazing animals at Maymont, historic vehicles and the care of carriage horses, and more. Spend the morning, the afternoon or stay the whole day! Girl Scouts and American Heritage Girls can earn multiple patches/badges; other participants will receive Maymont patches. Many Wolf, Bear and Webelos requirements can be completed on Maymont’s grounds, and a trip to Maymont is a perfect opportunity to work on the Outdoor Activity Award, Leave No Trace Awareness Award and parts of the Cub Scout World Conservation Award.
