After-School Program Series
Looking for a more in-depth program? Environmental educators offer after-school programs at your school that meet one hour per week for 5-8 weeks. Programs introduce students to a variety of environmental science concepts using live animal ambassadors and hands-on activities and crafts. Most programs correlate to the Virginia Standards of Learning for Science for grades K–2 or 3–5. Email us or call 804-358-7168 for more information. Prices vary depending on the number of weeks in the series. Maximum of 16 students; minimum of 10 students. Financial assistance for outreach programs may be available.
Historical educators bring the Gilded Age to life through costumed interpretation, including fashion shows and suffrage rally demonstrations, as well as in-depth explorations of the etiquette of dress, the social history of the era, and turn-of-the-20th-century Christmas traditions.
