On Saturday, October 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Greater Richmond Chorus will host World Singing Day Richmond at Picnic Hill near Maymont Farm. This marks the third year the award-winning chorus has brought the global singing celebration to Richmond—and this year, the event is open to the entire community.
World Singing Day is a worldwide movement, founded in 2012, that unites people through the simple joy of singing together. No rehearsals, no performances—just fun. At the Richmond event, families, friends, shower singers, and even lip-syncers are invited to join in singing a variety of popular hits—from Taylor Swift to The Beatles.
PARKING: Gather on the hill located between Maymont Farm and The Robins Nature Center; park at the Maymont Farm, 1001 Spottswood Road, for closest access.
