Dominion Energy Family Easter 100 acres of family fun, 100 years in the making!

Saturday, April 4, 9am-3pm

Bring the whole family for Dominion Energy Family Easter at Maymont, a cherished Richmond event that’s 100 years in the making.

FAMILY FUN ON THE LAWN

The 6-acre Carriage House Lawn will be packed with fun hands-on activities like crafts and games, live entertainment, food trucks, and, of course, photos with the Easter Bunny, presented by Ukrop’s Homestyle Foods.

HOP AROUND MAYMONT

The Robins Nature Center and Maymont Farm will be hopping with fun, too! Spread out to find games, activities and crafts, as well as live entertainment on 3 stages. Plus, you have to meet the baby animals and magical princesses at the farm!

Visit the newly reopened Maymont Mansion and enjoy a picnic on the lawn with tasty treats from local food vendors!

Younger children will love the Community Zone! They can meet Richmond mascots and public safety officers — even climb into their vehicles and check out their gear. They’ll love getting up-close with farm vehicles and emergency responder trucks, and even hop in a Dominion Energy bucket truck!

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO

All three entrances will be open. Note: there is a short detour for roadwork on Hampton St. near Colorado Ave. Ridesharing and public transit are strongly encouraged. Find directions here.

For the safety of our animals, pets are not permitted on the Maymont grounds, with the exception of trained service dogs. Please leave behind outside food and drinks, balloons, bikes, scooters or hoverboards.

Advance tickets are recommended. Find more tips here.

Volunteers assist with event setup, crafts and games, entertainment support, check-in at The Robins Nature Center, Maymont Farm, and Magnolia Gate, as well as general guest engagement. It’s a great opportunity for individuals, families, teams and students to make a big impact.
