Bring the whole family to Maymont for one of Richmond’s favorite spring events! The 6-acre Carriage House Lawn will be packed with fun activities, crafts and games, live entertainment, food trucks, and of course, photos with the Easter Bunny!
The Robins Nature Center and Maymont Farm are part of the fun, too! Spread out across Maymont’s grounds, you’ll find games, activities and crafts, as well as live entertainment on 3 stages, including a Dance Zone with a DJ from Bach to Rock spinning fun tunes. Snap a photo with the Easter Bunny, meet some baby farm animals, and make a picnic from local food truck offerings.
In the Community Zone, meet local helpers and heroes, including public safety officers, educators, sports mascots, and family-friendly businesses and nonprofit groups. Check out the trucks and gear used by utility workers, firefighters and emergency responders.
All three entrances will be open, and ridesharing and public transit are strongly encouraged.
Advance reservations are recommended — choose a morning (9am–12pm) or afternoon (12pm–3pm) entry time — and everyone can stay and play all day! Admission includes 3 activity tickets, each of which earns a fun activity or prize. Bring an Easter basket to carry them all home!
Volunteers Needed!
Support Maymont's largest single-day volunteer event! Volunteers assist with event setup, crafts and games, entertainment support, check-in at the Robins Nature Center, Maymont Farm, and Magnolia Gate, as well as general guest engagement.
No matter if you are ready to jump in and help or take a more subtle approach by being the Easter Bunny, there is a volunteer spot for you!
