Dominion Energy Family Easter

Saturday, March 30, 9am-3pm
Carriage House Lawn

(1700 Hampton Street)

Bring the whole family to Maymont for one of Richmond’s favorite spring traditions! This year’s “eggs-travaganza” is bigger than ever, spreading out from the Carriage House Lawn to The Robins Nature Center and Maymont Farm! Bring a picnic blanket, pick up tempting treats from local food vendors and make a day of it, with 100 acres to “eggs-plore.”

Enjoy games, fun activities and hands-on crafts, as well as live entertainment on 3 stages, including a Dance Zone with instruments to try out and a live DJ from Bach to Rock spinning fun tunes. Snap a photo with the Easter Bunny presented by Ukrop’s Homestyle Foods, meet some baby farm animals, and plant a seed at the Planting Station. Win prize-filled eggs in a Golden Egg Hunt, solving riddles to find the locations of golden eggs hidden around the grounds. The Robins Nature Center will be open, too!

In the expanded Community Zone on the Carriage House Lawn, meet RVA’s local helpers and heroes, including family-friendly businesses, utility workers and educators, sports mascots and local nonprofit groups. Across Magnolia Drive, meet local firefighters and emergency responders and check out their trucks and gear.

Advance reservations are recommended — choose a morning (9am–12pm) or afternoon (12pm–3pm) entry time — and everyone can stay and play all day! Admission includes 3 activity tickets, each of which earns a fun activity or prize. Bring an Easter basket to carry them all home! Entry is free for Maymont members and Museums for All participants.
