The 1893 Maymont Mansion has reopened, after two years of preservation and conservation through the Maymont 2025 project!
Self-guided, audio and staff-led tours of the Maymont Mansion are now offered Thursdays through Sundays. Make your reservation online or in person at the Stone Barn Welcome Center (see map).
The Reopened Virginia Wildlife Trail
Welcome back to Maymont’s beloved Virginia Wildlife Trail, a forever home for rescued and rehabilitated native wildlife nestled in a 40-acre forested valley. After a two-year enhancement project, explore the new and remodeled habitats, with more accessible pathways, new interpretive signs and more ways to view our wildlife residents, including old friends Big Bear and Little Bear, and our newest residents, two coyotes and two porcupines!
